Alternative Payment Methods

A wave of Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) are gaining popularity with customers around the world, as 60% of ecommerce consumers say they would abandon their cart if they could not pay with their preferred payment method. The right payment strategy can lower transaction costs, improve conversion and acceptance rates as well as strengthen security.
Here are some tips:
  • Cater to your consumers: Let them pay their way, everywhere (in-store and online).
  • Keep up with the trends: Staying on top of APM trends is a matter of competitive advantage.
  • Remove complexity: Find a partner that allows you to seamlessly add new payment methods through a single integration.
  • Localize your strategy: Payment preferences differ greatly between countries and regions as much as within them.
  • Consider the data: Market data can shed light on payment preference, sector benchmarks and comparative APM costs.

Brand Collabs: Starbucks puts Taylor Swift’s Signature Latte on the Menu

58% percentage of US consumers buy multiple items to try at home with the intention of returning those that don’t work, a practice called bracketing, per Narvar. Starbucks has teamed with Taylor Swift to promote her favorite latte and the release of the new version of her album, “Red,” during the chain’s Red Cup season. “Taylor’s Latte,” a Grande caramel non-fat latte, is now on the menu and both Starbucks and Swift had been teasing the partnership on social media in advance of the announcement last Friday.

Obviously, we can’t all afford Swift for a collab, but according to Collabosarus, their research found that brand collaborations can be up to 25x less expensive than digital advertising. Remember that micro-influencers, well matched with your brand can drive awareness, and in turn sales, for your target audience.
Here are some other benefits:
  • Attract publicity and build buzz around your brand
  • Reach new potential customers through cross-promotions
  • Discover new content for your brand
  • Boost in sales and social media engagement
  • Grow your social media community and followers
  • Opportunities to engage with your audience
  • Encourage user-generated content
Email or DM us and we can help find the perfect collab for you.
